OshKosh B’gosh CRANES for KIDS
As part of tvsdesign’s annual United Way week, nearly 30 architects, designers and professional staff gathered together over lunch to make 45 origami cranes to contribute to OshKosh B’gosh’s CRANES for KIDS promotion.
In Japanese culture, cranes are a powerful symbol of health and well-wishes. In fact, the Japanese people believe that anyone who makes 1,000 origami cranes will have a wish granted. For every crane made OshKosh will donate up to 50,000 clothing items. The cranes themselves will be delivered to the company’s stores in Japan to show our support.
