University of Georgia Center for Performing and Visual Arts

This complex for the arts serves as a gateway to a 75-acre expansion of the existing campus. The master plan, also generated by tvsdesign, creates a community of buildings located on the shoulder of a hilltop and organized around a new green quadrangle. The quadrangle uses the traditional collegiate “commons” to unify the five buildings, not unlike UGA’s original quadrangle, the romantic center and symbol of campus.
