A bold statement of modern suburban renewal was made by resuscitated a faltering mall, recycling its resources while eliminating the need to develop a new site. The former mall space serves as the campus commons, a concourse where glazed classrooms replace storefronts. Laboratory and computer resources pods anchor either end of the commons.
