Attention-commanding elements attract the design community to this space which appropriately reflects the image of the furniture brand. A super graphic-type logo on a glass partition allows views into the showroom while oversized columns with vertical cat’s eye cutouts draw visitors through the space. A warm color palette punctuated by accents of beech wood, copper and glass mosaic tiles compliment the showroom’s sophisticated yet whimsical design.

This showroom was developed in an urban area supporting the concept of a walkable community providing pedestrian access to basic services and public transportation. Low flow fixtures reduced water use by more than 40% over baseline standards. Systems performance was optimized by using low-voltage equipment and appliances.  More than 85% of construction waste was diverted from landfills. Occupant comfort is optimized with daylight and views.  A premium healthy indoor environment for both staff and visitors was created through the use of low or no VOC’s in paints, adhesives, carpet and composite wood.
