The Interface Americas Showroom is a LEED-CI Platinum rated product supporting their mission to create a space close to their customers, allowing for product mockup space, telling the “Interface Story,” providing working offices, and offering a space for special events and seminars.

This LEED CI project was the first to achieve a Platinum rating in the country. Through certain initiatives, the design team worked to achieve water efficiency, waste reduction, energy conservation, use of recycled materials and indoor air quality.

These initiatives included: 30% reduction in water use; Optimized energy performance of equipment and appliances; lighting and lighting controls; Recycling of both construction and consumer waste; Local products, certified wood and rapidly renewable materials and those with low or no VOCs utilized; Maximized daylight and views; Zero use of CFCs in HVAC&R equipment; Monitors thermal comfort and indoor air quality.
