701 and 703 Waterford

An institutional investor chose tvsdesign for its corporate and investment grade office expertise. Waterford, master planned by tvsdesign as 15 multi or single tenant buildings, shows a corporate style that would fit in any market with a contextual design unique to Miami.

The buildings surround a series of deep lagoons oriented to Miami International Airport. Lush landscape and the water’s cooling effects contribute to sense of place, while softening the contemporary architecture.

Since blinding sunlight can wash out building facades, tvsdesign offset the effect with long sweeping curves. Yet the design exploits the abundance of light with precast concrete aggregate washed to a pinkish red and intensified by the sun. Contrasted with blue mirror glass, the look fits Miami in a polished business sense.
